Epcot Flower & Garden Festival

On Monday and Tuesday I spent some time at Disney World. Monday I went to Magic Kingdom for a little bit, but did not really take many pictures. There were way too many annoying people there. On Tuesday I went to Epcot, and it was much less crowded. That was surprising because it was St. Patrick's Day and Epcot is known for being a drinking park. I did see some green beers and a lot of people were wearing their green, so it was fun to see all the different shirts people had on.

During the Spring, Epcot does their Flower & Garden Festival, where they plant all kinds of extra flowers and make giant topiaries of all different Disney characters. They have gardening classes and bring people in to teach about horticulture, have all kinds of kiosks and displays, have special performances, etc. Although it's no Food & Wine Festival, it's still really pretty. Here are some pics. :)

I miss Christmas! And Germany!

Naples weekend

We've had a lot of nothing going on these past several weeks, hence the lack of posts lately. But we have a lot of fun things coming up for the next few weekends in a row, so hopefully I can get it together and we can remember to take pics and I go through them to make more posts.

Last weekend, we started off my Spring Break by making a trip to Naples to visit with Granddad and Gigi. Ginny and Randy were visiting that weekend as well, so it was like a bonus as we got to hang out with them too!

It was great to see everybody and we had a nice relaxing weekend. Friday evening was a quiet dinner at home with Granddad and Gigi, followed by some basketball watching. On Saturday, we spent the entire day all together at the beach. The weather was beautiful and the water was GORGEOUS. Jake cooked us up some lamb for dinner that night (my FAVE) and then we watched more basketball (and tried to look for Taegan and Logan on TV at the Notre Dame game!). On Sunday we went to church in the morning and then stopped at a restaurant called the Dock for lunch on our way out of town.

As usual, the weekend went by way too fast. We hope to visit again next year!

Andddd.... I forgot the camera so this is all I've got.
